After clocking to become a member a list of general questions will appear – these will help give an overall view of your character and your death wishes….

Things to do before I die – don’t take life too seriously and make up some funny and quirky or serious goals to achieve before you kick the bucket.

My chosen charities – here you can specify charities that you are involved with. After you have died loved ones may want to donate money to a charity of your choosing. This way you can make sure it goes to the right place. Nowadays a lot of funerals steer away from having flowers and prefer to raise money for a worthy cause instead. You can also just inform users why you are so interested in this charity and help raise awareness from yourdeathwish.com profile.

My eulogy – list the kind of topics you want people to cover when doing a reading at your funeral. You cold even list who you want to read in front of the congregation, i.e.; auntie jean to tell the story of my first day at school.

Life support – let people know your views on life support. If you are involved in an accident loved ones can log on a see what your opinion is on this topic. Do you want to be switched off or fight on in case of a medical emergency? This can not be your legal view, only your opinion. Let your beliefs known before it’s too late.

My wake – What should people wear? What sandwiches should be served? Where’s the party to be held? Is there a theme? List here everything you require to happen at the post funeral ‘do’. Plan it down to the last sausage roll so friends and family can make sure its how you would have wanted your send off.

Family secrets vault – write all your funny and crazy secrets about yourself and anybody you know! This will not be viewable unless you have the secret code! This section includes a password entry system and will only be accessible to you and anyone you have given the password to. You can even keep it locked until you have passed away thus revealing all your secrets after your gone! Brilliant! But please don’t leave anything too shocking, people will want to remember good things about you, not about the time you stole money out of grannies wallet!

Private letters to loved ones –You can share stories, private feelings and goodbye notes. Anything you wanted to say when you were here but found it too hard. The recipients can read them from your profile and they can be a great form of communication and comfort. Because you are creating this profile now and hopefully won’t die till your 100 years old, you can keep the letters up-beat but also incase of illness you know whatever happens to you your letters and feelings won’t be lost with you. Again this section can be kept private using passwords and is accessed after you have gone.

My style of funeral – add any strange and fun ideas, the order of service and what style of funeral you want. Do you want people to enjoy it and be happy? Do you have any special requirements? Where should it be held? Should people bring flowers? Anything that you want at your big day. Remember a funeral should represent you and not anybody else, make sure friends and family represent you the way you wanted.

My ashes and coffin – if you want to be cremated log here where you want your ashes scattered and if you prefer burial you can choose your coffin – you can even order your coffin via the links. Organize it so others don’t have to.
My Organs – give your opinion on organ donation. Let loved ones know how you feel and you can also link to an organ donation web site to register your body parts to help others when you’ve passed. Have a heart will you!!!

My Memorial – if you want people to rememeber you in other ways rather just logging on to yourdeathwish.com then record all that information here. Do you want a bench? A plaque? Or even a party? Tell loved ones what they should do. You could even pay for it online to save others hassel.
